This is our standard 6 ft. stainless steel whip. We custom machine our own heavy duty ferrule to go on the end of this whip. The taper of this whip for the first 12 inches is .200 thick and then tapers to .100 thick for the remainder of the whip length. We recommend this whip on the Models 75 through 400 antennas for full frequency coverage. It uses the standard 3/8 x 24 thread. This antenna also comes with the purchase of your antenna.

HP-6

This is our High Power version of the 6 ft. stainless steel whip. It uses a large 3/4" corona ball on top to prevent a corona discharge for those running over 500 watts. We custom machine our own heavy duty ferrule to go on the end of this whip. This is a very stiff whip, the taper of the first 36 inches is .200 thick and then tapers to .150 thick for the remainder of the whip length.

CH-1 The Capacitance Hat is designed to help in two ways. First, you can use the capacitance hat with a whip as short as 30" and get the same frequency coverage as the 6' whip without sacrificing performance. Second, you can add the 6' whip to the top of the capacitance hat and get a big improvement in performance on the lower bands. The base of the capacitance hat is 12" tall with standard 3/8 x 24 thread at both ends. It uses 8 stainless steel rods 12" long each at 90 degrees to the antenna for maximum capacitance with less weight.   $69.00

Ground Radial Kit

This is a Stainless Steel Radial Plate designed to be mounted on the same one inch post that you would use to ground mount our antenna. The Plate is 9 inches in diameter and has 20 points to connect radials. The Radial Plate comes with ten 9 foot radials. The radials lay out does not need to be in a perfect spoke pattern or have to be straight (see below), the lay out can be in any pattern (to work in your mounting location) although the radials should not cross each other. The radial plate should be mounted as close to the ground as possible and your antenna should be mounted as close as possible to the radial plate.

Second Station Kit

This is our standard Switch Box Kit that comes with our antennas. It comes with the standard hardware that is included with the antennas. We offer them just in case you need one for a second location.

Control Cables

If you see your 20 ft. control cable is not long enough for your installation and you have a need for a longer control cable we have them in 50 foot sections with the connectors already installed on the ends as well as additional 5 ft., 10 ft. or 20 ft. extensions.

Programmable Controller The Programmable Controller was designed to give up/down control to tune your Tarheel Antenna in the same manner as your switch that comes with the antenna, but with the added feature of the digital readout. The counter counts the turns of the motor inside the antenna, allowing you to program up to 10 frequencies for easier use. Document what you have programmed into 1-10 memories and go back to that frequency next time with ease. $130.00
